7-Up Cake  Ingredients:       1 1/2 cups butter, soft    3 cups sugar       5 eggs    3 cups flour       2 teaspoons lemon extract    3/4 cup 7-Up soda

Preparation:

1 Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. 2 Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. 3 Stir in flour; beat in lemon extract and 7Up. 4 Pour batter into well greased and floured 12 cup fluted mold. 5 Bake at 325 degrees for 60 minutes to an hour and 25 minutes. 6 Cool; dust with conf. 7 sugar if desired.
