Beer Can Chicken | Ingredients: | |      | 1 1/4 kilo chicken |   | 1 cup dark beer | |      | 350 grs. mushrooms |   | 1 onion | |      | 2 cloves garlic |   | 1 bay leaf | |      | 1 cube beef stock |   | 5 tablespoons oil | |      | 1/2 teaspoon oregano |   | salt to taste | |      | 4 peppercorns black pepper |   | parsley (as desired) |

Preparation: |
1. Wash chicken and cut in pieces. 2. Clean mushrooms, wash and chop them. 3. Heat the oil in a pan and fry chicken pieces until they are golden. 4. Chop the onion and garlic, and add to pan. Cook until transparent, then add the rest of ingredients. 5. Cover and simmer approximately 40 minutes, or until chicken is tender. 6. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot.
