Apple Custard with Strawberry Cream | Ingredients: | |      | 4 eggs |   | 300 grs. sugar | |      | 6 egg yolks |   | 50 grs. butter | |      | 4 Russet apples |   | 200 grs. strawberries | |      | 1 ltr. milk |   | 500 grs. whipped cream |

Preparation: |
Peel the apples, core and cut them in 8 pieces. Place apples in a pot, add 4 tablespoons of water and cook for 5 minutes. Drain and place them in a skillet with the butter. Grease with butter a rectangular baking tin and arrange the apples in the bottom. Beat the eggs with the egg yolks and sugar; then, add the milk. Pour this preparation over the apples. Place the tin inside another larger tin with water and take to preheated moderate oven for 40 minutes. While the custard is cooking, whip the cream with an electric mixer and add the chopped strawberries and sugar or artificial sweetener. Once the custard is cold, remove from tin and serve with the strawberry cream on top.
