Hot Chili Steak | Ingredients: | |      | 2 pounds beef tenderloin |   | 2 tablespoons paprika | |      | 1/2 tablespoon hot chili powder |   | 1/2 teaspoon black ground pepper | |      | 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin |   | salt | |      | 3 garlic cloves |   | 1/4 cup vinegar | |      | 1/2 cup oil |   | 1 medium onion | |      | 2 medium tomatoes |   | 2 large eggs | |      | 6 large potatoes |   | 1 pound pasta (manicotti) |

Preparation: |
1. Cut the meat in thin fillets. 2. Crush garlic cloves very well. 3. In a small bowl combine the paprika, hot chili powder, pepper, cumin, salt and crushed garlic. 4. Add the vinegar slowly into the bowl, stirring constantly until getting a creamy mixture. 5. Brush the meat both sides with this mixture, and let it stand for 5 minutes. 6. Pour oil in a frying pan and fry the steaks until both sides are golden brown. 7. Cook the manicotti as usual. Drain the remaining water. 8. Chop finely the onion and tomatoes. Place them in another skillet with oil. Fry slightly for a minute or two. Add the eggs and stir quickly with a wooden spoon. Season with salt and pepper. Add this egg mixture to the cooked pasta. 9. Cook the potatoes in water. 10. Serve the steak with the cooked potatoes and pasta. |
